We currently have an opportunity for a SAP Basis Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role

The SAP Basis Manager will report directly to the RCP Director of IT Operations, and provide the direction for building and running Reynolds Consumer Products’ on-premise and Cloud Hosted SAP Basis services. The role will have full accountability for daily operations of the SAP Basis Services, processes, technologies and service providers’ relationships while partnering with business unit and other functional stakeholders.

The SAP Basis Manager will be accountable for leading the planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the SAP systems.  You will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide hands-on leadership and operational support of the SAP Basis Administration for SAP ERP, SAP Netweaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Web Dispatcher
  • Manage periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades
  • Provide leadership for resolving basis issues, optimizing services and ensuring the availability, performance & Application security of critical business systems
  • Serve as the subject matter expert, guide the creation of innovative solutions on time and within cost objectives and provide technical leadership and third level operational support
  • Interface with the business to define business roles and translate to SAP Security requirements for delivery by the managed services provider

We need you to have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of SAP Basis experience in supporting components SAP ECC, CRM, BW, PI, SLD, Solution Manager, HANA, BOBJ BI/BODS, EP, Solution Manager systems in a 24/7 enterprise environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Solid experience with SAP security operations, creating and maintaining SAP security roles & authorizations and design/development; proven experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and administration and SAP architecture of applications running on Windows/UNIX OS, MSSQL/HANA and in cloud environment
  • Proven performance with configuring SAP NetWeaver Identity Management, SAP Single Sign-on, SAML, X.509 certificates
  • Demonstrated experience with a complete project cycle from inception to completion as an SAP technical lead for sub-projects of enterprise-level initiatives; experience with working in managed support environment
