Pay: $32.23 / Hour

Your Role:

As an Ignition Specialist, you will improve operations and reduce costs by using Lean Manufacturing Tools to focus on elimination of waste, reduction of variation, and development of people You will have the opportunity to:

• Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives
• Use Inductive Automation software (Ignition) to connect, design, and deploy applications and platforms to retrieve data from production equipment
• Participate and lead Presto-wide improvement projects and kaizen and problems solving events
• Apply Lean concepts and problem solving tools in daily project work to promote continuous improvement

We need you to have:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of extrusion and converting processes
• Experience in lean manufacturing including lean six sigma, kaizens, and process improvements
• Ability to use Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and 12 hour shifts

Icing on the cake:

• Statistical and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and AIB requirements
• Willingness to travel
