Pay: $24.24 / Hour

Your Role:

As an Oiler, you will be responsible for lubricating, cleaning, checking levels and filling with oil all systems and equipment associated with primary production, auxiliary and support equipment. You will be Performing preventive maintenance and assist craftsman with basic construction work (rigging, installation, and demolition). Filling propane bottles, changing gas cylinders, moving furniture, cleanup spills/water leaks and perform duties as fire watch.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with basic hand tools, lubrication equipment, and cut-off saws.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and manlifts.
  • Follow Lockout Tagout procedures.
  • Use fall protection equipment.
  • Read, write, and use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • Safely identify and access equipment lubrication points.
  • Use measurement equipment and read blueprints to support Machinists in fabricating parts.
  • Involved in tasks such as rigging, installation, and demolition.
  • Responsible for moving furniture and equipment.
  • Local travel to pick up parts may be required.
  • Available for various shifts: 8 AM to 4 PM, 4 PM to 12 AM, or 12 AM to 8 AM.
  • Willingness to work overtime during weekdays and weekends.
  • Prepared to work up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Proficient in reading lubrication schedules and applying the correct lubricant for each application.
  • Ability to demonstrate good communication skills both oral & written, ability to carry out instructions when given verbally or in writing.
  • Capacity to work independently, with others or in groups.
  • Possess the attitude to gather, review, and analyze information to perform the above job task.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of up to 60 feet
  • Ability to operate in ambient environmental temperatures of up to 120°F.
  • Ability to easily lift 50 pounds and exert force to push or pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Enter confined spaces as needed.

We need you to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience
  • Proficient math skills

Icing on the cake:

  • Familiarity with SQF and GMP practices
  • Experience in the consumer product goods industry
