Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for Senior Engineer located at our manufacturing plant in Louisville, KY.

Your Role:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical safety of the plant as well as ensuring continuous improvement of the equipment and processes within the plant. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Identifies and manages external resources to develop new products, technologies, and processes.
  • Manage plant’s overall capital budget by working with project Engineers and keeping track of capital costs, schedules and identifying and solving potential issues.
  • Manage large plant-wide projects, Ex. Machine Guarding.
  • Function as the primary point of contact for large business unit managed projects and major outages.
  • Utilizes project plans to set team priorities, deliver on project milestones, prepare for contingencies and find solutions to technical barriers and obstacles.
  • Provides technical leadership to team problem solving, identifying new project opportunities and guiding the development of the initiatives through engineering, research and testing.
  • Makes presentations/communicates appropriately to business and technical leadership to report on project status.
  • Prepare technical research, testing and reports to support new product and claims.
  • Develops technical cost models and product specifications.
  • In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.  
  • May supervise other engineers

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years in a similar role at a manufacturing or industrial facility
  • Project management experience
  • Availability to support production schedule by taking calls during nights and weekends

Icing on the cake:

  • Familiarity with Wonderware
  • Experience with power distribution systems, including high voltage
