We are searching for a Planning Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the planning department including setting priorities, developing preventative maintenance programs, scheduling maintenance, and guiding projects. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify, prioritize, and complete maintenance related activities
  • Provide training and leadership to team members and monitor their performance
  • Manage the department budget and secure funding for projects
  • Develop standard work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and reaction plans for all tasks

In this exciting role, you will resolve problems and take advantage of improvement opportunities to optimize our production and increase efficiency and will have a major impact on our company by being a mentor of creative and innovative thinking from team members and brining their ideas to fulfillment.

We need you to have:

  • 2-4 year degree from a college or technical school
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project
  • Knowledge of CAD design

Icing on the cake:

  • Project management experience
  • Prior supervisory experience
