If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Your Role:
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the supply planning strategy and operations within a Reynolds Business Unit to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This position will collaborate and serve as the liaison between the supply planning team and cross-functional teams within the organization to facilitate understanding the supply plan, logistics forecast, and budget. You will have the opportunity to:
- Ensure supply and inventory plans are established in conjunction with demand plans and manufacturing capacity to meet business needs.
- Build strong relationships and partnership with operations, materials planning, and procurement teams to ensure supply plans are realistic and achievable while optimizing service and inventory.
- Conduct analysis and present recommendations and findings related to supply plans, inventory levels/days of supply, service level, SLOB (slow moving and obsolete), and other key supply chain measures to all levels of management.
- Build and support project plans to implement recommendations that define impacts to supply, product distribution, inventory, and service while evaluating the impact of business driven go to market changes.
- Support cross functional collaboration to ensure successful product commercialization and seasonal inventory planning from a supply perspective.
- Interact with business partners and customers, review requests and changes, as well as assess the impact of requested changes.
- Recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge, analytics, and best business practices.
- Initiate and lead supply prioritization discussions during capacity constrained periods.
- Lead and/or support troubleshooting and problem resolution for planning issues impacting service.
- Manage a team of planners in the daily execution of their roles and support ongoing career growth and development of the supply planners.

We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of related professional and progressive experience in supply chain in a multi-facility environment utilizing MPS, CPP, and MRP.
- Prior team management experience combined with a proven record of accomplishment, developing, coaching, and mentoring a diverse supply chain team.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Proficient in SAP, Logility, and/or other ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Ability to travel on a limited basis (5%).
- Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
Icing on the cake:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- APICS certification.
- Supply Planning experience.
