We are searching for an IT Site Support Technician to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As an IT Site Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing operational support including all computing devices, peripherals, and common applications. In this exciting role, you will collaborate with people at all levels of the organization and will ensure that our facility’s technology systems are operating correctly so that we may continue to innovate. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support break/fix repair of computer, server, and network equipment, as well as procure computer equipment, deploy of new equipment and software, and perform root cause analysis and problem resolution
  • Provide highly responsive support to employees for technical problems, questions and requests
  • Manage ticket documentation in Remedy ITSM application; provide customer follow up via remote assistance, phone and email
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with applications, interfaces, hardware, software, security and system failures
  • Handle assigned work requests according to designated goals and objectives
  • Provide the highest level of customer support to ensure all employees have the highest level of customer satisfaction possible

In this exciting role, you will identify improvement opportunities for Service Center processes and participate in team efforts to optimize service improvements as well as establish and maintain working relationships with Service Center team, RLS/Pactiv/Reynolds users and IT support partners.

We need you to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft – MCSA/MCSE – Windows 7/ 10, Server 2007/2012
  • 5+ years’ experience as Desktop Support professional
  • 3+ years’ experience Network Operations / Systems Monitoring
  • Working knowledge of network components including routers, switches and circuits

Icing on the cake:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate headquarter environment
  • 2+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft System Center Suite, Microsoft Office 2010/2016, LAN/WAN, network printing, iPhone/Android, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10, Cisco network devices 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2007/2012 or equivalent
