We are searching for an Identity Architect to join our team located at our headquarters in Lincolnshire, IL.

Your Role:

As an Identity Architect, you will be responsible for development of .NET components and applications to support the Identity and Access Management Infrastructure of Reynolds IT Leveraged Services.  This role is focused on enterprise system development, with applications typically interacting with Active Directory and other system components.  Aside from development, this position also involves configuration and support of various tools that are used in the identity space. 

The Identity Architect has sharp analytical skills and is able to recognize synergies and relationships between developed applications and other components of the complex identity environment, and is able to efficiently drill through layers to identify issue sources.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Design flexible and effective RESTful APIs as well as develop Web APIs, WCF services and ASMX web services.
  • Use practical implementation of organized approaches to error handling and reporting in applications.
  • Implement secure coding practices in development projects
  • Analyze diagnostics such as Fiddler traces, event logs, SAML traces

We need you to have:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or the equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of related work experience including solid exposure to identity architecture and solutions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Experience in managing and leading virtual, cross-functional teams including requirements definition, design documentation, project plans and solution delivery
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills. 
  • Proficiency in C# and JavaScript. 
  • Proficiency in development of quality solutions with ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms.
  • Expertise in designing flexible and effective RESTful APIs.  Development of Web APIs, WCF services and ASMX web services.
  • User interface development with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and jQuery. 
  • Experience in layered architecture design and development of reusable components.
  • Understanding of common design patterns.
  • Practical implementation of organized approaches to error handling and reporting in applications.
  • Implementation of secure coding practices in development projects.
  • Understanding of modern authentication protocols. 
  • Experience coding solutions using OAUTH 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
  • Strong debugging skills, with experience in analyzing diagnostics such as Fiddler traces, event logs, SAML traces. 
  • Strong understanding of the HTTP protocol.
  • Basic SQL Server coding skills, including LINQ to SQL. 
  • Basic database design skills.
  • Working knowledge of network concepts, such as firewalls, proxies, DNS.
  • Experience with a source control system, such as Team Foundation Server.

  • MIM and AAD Connect experience
  • PowerShell proficiency 
  • SharePoint development skills
  • Experience with an Identity Provider such as ADFS 
  • Experience with Azure AD authentication and account management
