We are searching for a Graphics Operations Specialist to join our team located in Richmond, Virgina.

Your Role:

As a Graphics Operations Specialist, you will responsible for the cost, quality, efficiency, and safety of the Bellwood Graphic Operations.  All graphic, prepress, and image carrier needs for associated departments within the Bellwood Printing Plant will be coordinated through this position You will have the opportunity to:

  • Review, evaluate and load files, ensuring best possible reproduction at the least possible cost.
  • Coordinate and lead art meetings with printing and prepress teams.
  • Manage documentation for plant specific information related to artwork, prepress, and image carriers (web comp, engraving specs, press profiles, and gamma curves are example). Enter data to produce GDN documentation.
  • Manage production artwork / prepress development from design files and transfer to vendor for production; assemble pressroom package.

In this exciting role, you will serve as a technical resource to drive gravure specific treatments, substrate selections, and ink systems and support international teams as needed.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphics, Engineering, Sciences, Quality or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic reproduction for packaging.
  • Previous experience using job-relevant systems (FileMaker Pro, Maintenance Connection, Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator, remote approval software).
  • Previous experience printing on Uncoated and CCNB.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience with research and new product development
  • Prior experience managing and developing a team of diverse staff
  • Marketing experience working on private label brands
