Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Competitive Intelligence & Sales Strategy Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Competitive Intelligence & Sales Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for synthesizing information from multiple sources to develop strategic insights and points of view on key competitive developments and the implications and actions the organization could take. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage multiple high profile and impact BU projects
  • Analyze and make strategic sales recommendations 
  • Maintain personal relationships with existing customers to explore all potential sales opportunities including prospecting
  • Develops sales plans and budgets

In this role, you will play an extremely vital part in our company's sales strategy and will use your people-skills to network with key stakeholders, help us to grow our customer base, and ultimately improve our customer satisfaction.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of related professional competitive insights experience within a CPG company.
  • 7+ years of related professional and progressive experience in sales in the CPG industry.
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Proficient in gathering, compiling and preparing data from Nielsen and/or IRI
  • Ability for overnight travel on a periodic basis. (20-30%)

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • Broker management experience
