Your Role:

As a Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain you will be responsible for end-to-end logistics and trade compliance for Canada and International Business Units across Reynolds Consumer Products.  You will also develop strategic direction for import/export and foreign to foreign logistics, including trade compliance activities.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop strategic direction for import/export and foreign to foreign logistics, including trade compliance activities
  • Pro-actively coordinate and communicate with internal and external business partners
  • Manage relationships and agreements with third parties including Customs Brokers, freight forwarders and other third parties involved in the import/export and International process.
  • Maintain customs policies and business SOP’s and effectively implement to support global supply chain requirements, local regulations, and corporate polices/standards
  • Ensure management and execution of annual C-TPAT activities
  • Supervise the management of import/export activities and global custom brokerage support.
  • Supervise the classification and maintenance of correct harmonized tariff codes and country of origin information to accurately define traded goods.
  • Develop and manage KPIs to monitor trade compliance and global logistics execution. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government entities that have jurisdiction over trade compliance.
  • Develop and implement customs policies and business SOP’s to support global supply chain requirements, local regulations, and corporate polices/standards
  • Manage risks associated with Global Supply Chain execution and drive compliant cost-saving global trade programs and logistics initiatives
  • Assist with carrier contracts, negotiations and management
  • Assist with vetting business partners, reviewing documents, and various other activities in support of RCP’s overall trade compliance.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS in International Business, International Logistics, Supply Chain, OR sufficient work experience to compensate.  
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in International Logistics and Compliance
  • In depth understanding of the C-TPAT process, minimum security requirements and validation visits
  • Familiarity in working with US Customs
  • Free Trade Agreements and documentation
  • Knowledge of product classification
