We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager, Fresh-Lock (Eastern Midwest) to join our team at our team (100% virtual role).

Your Role:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sales of Fresh-lock® zipper and slider closures to assigned customers in the assigned geography and for building and managing a customer base for those products. In addition, they will develop and execute sound commercial strategies to protect existing base business, develop and grow accounts through the sales team, while also achieving growth in targeted markets and targeted customers with existing and new products. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for achieving sales revenue, profit and expense goals within a defined geographic area.
  • Manage the region to attain the annual forecasted sales volume and EBITDA.
  • Develop sales plans and budgets for maximizing sales volume while meeting profit margin targets.
  • Identify, qualify and close new target accounts within the region.
  • Work with technical support, manufacturing and other support teams as needed to resolve customer problems.
  • Provide input to management for building the annual sales forecast for the region.
  • Maintain a record of accounts, contacts and account activity using CRM platform.
  • Attend and participate in major industry trade shows which the business participates in.
  • Complete all required administrative duties in a timely manner.
  • Network with key industry OEM’s and film suppliers in the region.
  • Monitor competitive activity within the region and report to the business management team.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS preferably in business, sales/marketing or related field, required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales, preferably in flexible packaging or a related industry.
  • Solid communication skills including written, verbal, presentation and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated skills and attributes include problem solving, negotiation and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation, verbal).
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or another advanced degree
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
