We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Services Manager to join our team at our Presto Products plant in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Your Role:

As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the plant maintenance and engineering departments responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing machines, tools, equipment. This includes driving continuous improvement and solving chronic process and equipment issues to ensure that each process is optimized to meet current goals. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Supervise all aspects of maintaining production equipment and facilities at the plant to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
  • Set priorities for projects and work orders pertaining to the maintenance function.
  • Train and develop our employees

You will express your ideas and make recommendations for improvements. Ultimately, you will make our processes more efficient and productive therefore you will have a direct impact on the company!

We need you to have:

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical preferred)
  • 5+ years of professional and progressive experience in plant operations
  • 2+ years prior technical team management experience 
  • Experience using statistical tools for problem solving
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and initiatives such as 5S, Six Sigma, Value Streams, and TPM

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience in polyethylene back-making environment
