Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a full time entry-level Machine Operator-Production Associate at our fast-paced plant in Weyauwega, WI.

Pay: $20.58/Hour

 

Your Role:

As a Machine Operator-Production Associate, you will be responsible for filling customer orders, operating equipment to create finished goods, packaging products, and upholding our safety standards. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Have a basic knowledge of the extrusion process and a mechanical understanding of various equipment, including the ability to operate computerized equipment. Be able to troubleshoot equipment to resolve problems. Have an understanding of the quality requirements of the product being produced.
  • Operate extrusion line (s) including, but not limited to, the following tasks:
    a. Perform changeover on mater and winder for different zipper styles.
    b. Assemble spools and prepare other components for production.
    c. Have a basic understanding of resins and resin handling.
    d. Heat up extruder (s) and perform all start up tasks.
    e. Adjust extruder heat profile as needed while running.
    f. Adjust water temperature and level as needed.
    g. Set up and adjust winder parameters to achieve good roll geometry.
    h. Purge extruder and perform all shutdown tasks.
    i. Assist in conducting trials and running R&D work orders.
  • Perform all required documentation and quality checks including, but not limited to, the following tasks:
    a. Read, understand and follow product specifications.
    b. Accurately report production data including some data entry and maintain production logbook.
    c. Use various measurement and data collection equipment and perform all required quality checks.
    d. Perform back checks on held or rejected product. Work with internal customers to re-run rejected products.

  • Provide training for other operators.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Team/Group Leader or Process Leader.
  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with using TPM
