We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator 1-Skill Level 4 (Food Contact) at our manufacturing facility in Lewiston, UT.

Pay: $23.08/Hour

Your Role:

As a Machine Operator 1-Skill Level 4 (Food Contact) line you will be responsible for operating equipment to package finished products and fill customer orders. You will have the opportunity to:

• Effectively fill all Level 4 machine operator positions while being willing to assist in covering higher skill level positions in staffing needs.
• Maintain skills to effectively operate lower skill level positions in staffing needs.
• Monitor, maintain and drive improvements to process controls.
• Participate in activities related to training, safety, quality, cost improvements, production reporting, and production efficiency improvements
• Participate in machine set up and changeovers.
• Perform TPM checklists on all parts of equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining personal conditioning to physically perform essential job functions.

We need you to have:

• Ability to learn, develop, and maintain knowledge and skill appropriate to job assignment
• Basic math skills
• Basic written and verbal skills
• Computer literacy including the following:
  • ability to use email and Microsoft Office programs
  • ability to learn computer programs
  • knowledge of Oracle and BPCS
  • other computer skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Responsible to comply with the GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
