Your Role:

As a Mechanical Designer, you will prepare drawings for facilities, utilities, processes, machines, and components. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to changes by revising existing drawings
  • Provide support to non-Technical departments
  • Ensure drawings are appropriately documented and filed
  • Pursue excellence and advance your skills

Ultimately, you will use your talents to solve problems and develop high-quality mechanical design solutions.

We need you to have:

  • Associates degree or 2 year technical degree with emphasis on machine design and molded part design
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft office, including Excel
  • Proficient in the use of SolidWorks 3-D software or an equivalent software
  • Knowledge of electronic control such as PLC, temp controls, motor/drive controls, etc.
  • Proficiency in SAP or Oracle

Icing on the cake:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of machine design experience, injection mold tooling, and molded part design experience
  • Experience using Continuous Improvement Processes such as 5S, Value Stream, Six Sigma, or TPM
