We currently an opportunity for a Lift Truck Operator 2 to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, IL.

Pay: $23.63 / Hour

Your Role:

Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Perform Initial LTO training for new LTO’s
• Perform on-the-job training (mentoring) for new LTO’s in Logistics
• Site/location specifics
• Policies / Procedures
• Be flexible to work at all Jacksonville Logistics locations
• Unload finished goods off shuttle trucks/outside carriers
• Pick orders for finished goods
• Load orders for outbound shipments
• Other duties as needed (housekeeping, consolidation, replenishment, inspections, inventory counts, etc.)

We need you to have:

• Forklift License
• Ability to lift/handle cases
• LES Computer Knowledge
• Familiar with current plant work-process flow.
• If you are LTO qualified, but are not LTO2 qualified, you would be required to complete the LTO2 qualification, within 120 days of joining the group, if selected for this position.
• If you are not LTO qualified, you may submit your name and this will be secondary, if there are no LTO qualified candidates. You will need to become LTO2 qualified in 120 days of joining the group.

• A valid driver’s license (if required to use company vehicle available or drive personal vehicle to off-site warehouse)
• Safety-minded, quality-driven, and productive.
• Aptitude for training others.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure successful completion of the job.
• Must be a team player with demonstrated ability to work well with others
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and to work overtime when needed.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; pull up to 5 pounds of force; reach forward and above the shoulders; bend, twist, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move/carry up to 30 pounds. The employee will also occasionally be required to stand, walk, stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, climb stairs, reach to the side of the body, and have controlled use of one or both hands; including gripping/grasping, and turning of the wrist; and both feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, mid-range, and distance vision and ability to adjust focus for occasional keyboarding and reading of signage. Physical demands may also include extreme heat and moderate cold temperatures and have balance and coordination intact.
