If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Training Manager to join our team located in Huntersville, NC.

Your Role:

The Training Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining the training systems for the Huntersville Facility to include leadership development training, skills development training, and leading programs directly related to the retention of our team members. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and manage training coordinators across multiple shifts to support training initiatives.
  • Development and delivery of leadership training courses to help support the growth of our leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and deliver hands-on training content for our team members.
  • Manage the level book and skills development program for all positions in the facility to include administrative duties and translating requirements into training that will develop ongoing bench strength for our manufacturing teams.
  • Lead and coordinate quarterly skill review sessions to ensure consistency of the level evaluation process.
  • Ensure level book training documents are current and up to date.
  • Provide technical writing assistance to support the creation of OPL’s and SOP’s for the facility.
  • Lead, manage, and partner with our leaders to provide a value added first 90-day experience to improve retention across the facility.
  • Help to lead and improve new hire orientation process to improve the learning experience and retention.
  • Audit the effectiveness of our training coordinators, trainees, and provide effective feedback to improve programs and performance.
  • Partner with Supervisors and Training Coordinators to evaluate strengths and weaknesses throughout the plant and provide training solutions to close gaps.
  • Partners and collaborates with leaders on developing training and readiness of team members for new equipment in the facility.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or HR-related degree.
  • Must have 5+ years of a strong track record of designing and implementing leadership and technical training programs.
  • Ability to evaluate culture, organizational capability, and technical strength to deliver effective training and learning programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to present effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing and Training in order to effectively build new training programs to deliver on Engineering and Operational requirements.
  • Experience developing E-learning and Virtual Training to improve new hire experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office products.
