We are searching for a Contract Manufacturing Pricing Associate to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Contract Manufacturing Pricing Associate, you will serve as the liaison between marketing, accounts payable, contract manufacturing, supply planning, and our external suppliers giving all groups support when needed. You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Provide a high level of customer service processing payments and receipts, ensuring adherence to company and accounting policies and procedures as well as providing issue resolution and technical guidance.
  • Process PO Conversions (approximately 275/wk.) and PO Change Requests (approximately 475/wk.) in a timely manner and keep the requestor aware of any issues or delays encountered.
  • Manage the task flow of invoice processing including: reviewing supplier invoices for accuracy, compliance, expense coding and policy adherence, internal confirmation of payment approval, forwarding to Accounts Payable and maintaining electronic/hard copies.
  • Communicate well with internal customers and supplier partners and be the point of contact for general questions.
  • Upload supplier costs quarterly for one of our largest vendors by updating the purchasing info records (PIR).
  • Maintain the Outline Agreement (OA) for all our outsource and co-pack suppliers.
  • Verify pricing against contractual agreements and initiates action to resolve discrepancies.
  • Takes preventive action to avoid problems downstream.
  • Ensures pricing is correct on the outline agreements/info records to minimize disruptions.
  • Assist in administering entire procurement contract life cycle from submission to execution.
  • Will join any weekly/monthly Project calls that pertain to your tasks.
  • Examine all the sub-contracting POs to ensure the proper material components and costing are accurate on a weekly basis.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience with the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
  • Experience working with a large software system.
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes, receiving processes, and requisition processes.
  • Fundamental knowledge of supply chain and purchasing.
  • A commitment to excellence and continuous improvement with processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong sense of curiosity and desire to learn.
  • Extremely organized and a master of juggling multi-requests and inquires and responding promptly with answers, updates, and information.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal and external customers.
  • Expert analytical skills as well as organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

  • Prior experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
  • SAP experience.
