We are searching a Logistics Intern to join our team located at our facility in Appleton, WI.

Your Role:

As a Logistics Intern who is currently enrolled in college, you will spend a summer building on classroom learning through paid work directly related to your field. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with our Plant Finance Team and Logistics Manager to provide support on numerous projects
  • Assist with the day to day Logistics activities including Receiving, Shipping, Scheduling, and cost/benefit analysis
  • Analyze inventory levels, changeover frequency and costs, and product order patterns to optimize scheduling
  • Work with Finance and Logistics team to assess scheduling efficiency opportunities and execute improvements
  • Fill in for Machine Schedulers during vacation periods
  • Learn current Supply Chain processes

We need you to have:

  • Current enrollment and pursuit of a BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Completed at least 2 years of course work at an accredited university
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using SAP and JDA
  • Availability for 10-12 weeks from June to August

Icing on the cake:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Interest in the consumer product goods industry
