We are searching a Senior Brand Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Sr. Brand Manager for our Tableware Business, you will play a vital role in our company and will identify opportunities for new products, product improvements, and cost savings.   You will lead the feasibility assessment, implementation, and ultimately launch projects to support continuous improvement and innovation for organic growth.

You will be responsible for ensuring that business objectives are achieved, including new product development behind sustainable solutions, brand and private label brand growth, and customer specific new product development initiatives.  You will have the opportunity to:

  • Establish long term vision for product categories by mining consumer insights
  • Develop strategic portfolio of sustainable products to address evolving environmental concerns and legislation
  • Lead new product initiatives through the Stage Gate Process
  • Lead cross functional project specific teams for key strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams during weekly commercialization meetings for product improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Prepare and present monthly project updates to Senior Management
  • Participate in integrated marketing communications development
  • Develop sales presentations and collateral materials to support new product introductions

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 4-7+ years of experience in marketing/product management within a world-class consumer products organization
  • Experience launching products of at least $25MM in retail sales
  • Experience using retailer scan data analysis programs such as Nielsen or IRI
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or another advanced degree
  • Experience as an assistant product manager or product manager
