Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

 Your Role:

 As a Senior Accountant, you will create daily and monthly journal entries related to corporate department accounts and transactions. You will also be responsible for intercompany analysis as well as corporate allocations and accruals. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Create balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Analyze income statements and company cash movements
  • Reconcile and clear monthly intercompany activity and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare month-end financial reports
  • Collect information from cost center managers for month-end accruals and unbudgeted allocations to business segments
  • Prepare monthly journal entries to record budgeted allocations to business segments
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure continuous applications of SOX internal controls
  • Interact across all levels of the organization and across all segments and business functions

We need you to have:

  • A BA/BS in finance or accounting, CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of professional accounting or finance experience 
  • Experience with large, automated financial systems such as SAP 
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Strong communications skills and ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to work effectively and independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities
