We are searching for a Quality and Specifications Manager to join our team located in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Quality and Specifications Manager, you will be responsible for Managing Reynolds Quality and Specifications for products produced by Pactiv (Contract Manufacturer – CM) for the Reynolds’ businesses and designing and managing end of production quality testing (Acceptable Quality Level – AQL).  The person in this role will lead the Product Change Review Board (PRB) which is a team assembled to systematically move through changes to existing products when required. The PRB includes Reynolds business teams, technical teams, Pactiv operations and the Reynolds regulatory manager. 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze the resulting AQL data to predict and control non-conforming product shipped to Reynolds
  • Teach how to utilize and conduct AQL testing to the outside CM
  • Create and manage a very large amount of finished product specifications and associated AQL testing plans
  • Audit the Pactiv manufacturing sites and areas that produce product for Reynolds

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree with Quality, Engineering, Technical or Statistical focus
  • 5-10+ years of related professional manufacturing and quality management experience
  • Expert in CPG products and key performance drivers related to safe product manufacturing. Able to design and conduct GMP, BRC (or equivalent), safety and social audits
  • Extremely organized and a master of juggling multi-requests and inquires and responding promptly with answers, updates, and information

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or Advanced  Degree
