Are you looking to build a strong career?  We are searching for a Procurement Category Manager, Global Services to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Procurement  Category Manager, Global Services, you will lead Professional Services category across the organization, supporting multiple internal stakeholders, from a wide spectrum of departments with many and varied needs, in a fast-paced demanding environment.  This role manages ~$100 million in annual spend and the candidate will establish relationships by building trust with internal stakeholders and developing/executing strategies, to optimize their business performance. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, champion and implement category strategies for global services, including, but not limited to, travel, marketing and human resources
  • Lead cross-functional change management initiatives that support the category strategy and facilitate execution to drive synergies across the organization
  • Responsible for planning activities including development and maintenance of category
  • Integrate strategic category management best practices with modernized business practices across RCP to deliver the solution that best fits the customer needs

Ultimately, you will will leverage data to deliver cost savings goals and must have the ability to leverage analytics to drive strategic business decisions.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS Degree required in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or related field.
  • 5 plus years of professional job-related or category management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels; particularly with internal business leaders and business partners.
  • Experience in advanced sourcing techniques and tools

Icing on the cake:

  • Masters or MBA in Business, Marketing or Human Resources
