Your Role:

As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team for the facility and will plan, coordinate, and execute process improvement activities. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Troubleshoot and statistically analyze current processes
  • Develop standard operating conditions and standard work processes
  • Prioritize and implement improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, and cost
  • Support Lead Manufacturing philosophy and ensure the use of Lean tools
  • Oversee project development with new carton operations

Ultimately, you will express your ideas and make recommendations for improvements to make our processes more efficient and productive therefore you will have a direct impact on the company!

We need you to have:

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical preferred)
  • 5+ years of professional and progressive experience in plant operations
  • Experience using statistical tools for problem solving
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and initiatives such as 5S, Six Sigma, Value Streams, and TPM

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience in polyethylene back-making environment
