Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for an Indirect Global Sourcing Manager-Indirect MRO & Capital located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As an Indirect Global Sourcing Manager-Indirect MRO & Capital, you will support strategic sourcing of Indirect and Capital spend categories for 14 plants and will be responsible for implementation of sourcing strategies and projects for the assigned categories under the guidance of category leadership.  

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop strategy, BU requirements,  and  BU-specific projects and negotiations
  • Work closely with various functions to drive project initiatives against strategy and plan
  • Compile specifications and business requirements to develop bid packages for competitive events 
  • Regularly monitor and analyze market, competitive data, pricing trends to identify bid or negotiation  opportunities
  • Regularly monitor compliance with strategic direction and policies

In this role, you will be a key part of category teams to develop strategies, under the guidance of category leaders, in Energy and Utilities, MRO, and Capital expense.

We need you to have:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree is required –Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the Procurement discipline in a large, internationally scaled, multi-plant manufacturing organization
  • Experience in managing spends of at least $50MM per year in indirect materials
  • Experience/capability in leading cross-functional teams to implement supplier change and/or cost savings initiatives across a large, complex supplier base and a geographically diverse plant network

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Multiple language knowledge and multiple country experience
  • Experience managing energy and utilities, capital expense, and MRO
