We are searching for a IT Service Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As an IT Service Manager, you will be the owner of all ITIL process and will be responsible for the essential functions of Incident/Major Incident Management, Problem and Change Management, Knowledge Management, SACM and Service Level Management.  The IT Service Manager is also responsible for driving the identification of Critical Success Factors and KPI’s to measure IT Service Management improvement. You will have the opportunity to:

    • Ensure that technical issues  responded to and that normal service operations are restored as quickly as possible
    • Ensure customer facing communications are provided within documented service levels during service interruptions
    • Document investigative and remediation actions taken during major incidents
    • Ensure major incidents are escalated and facilitated to enable efficient and timely service restorations

Ultimately, you will ensure that the root cause of Problems are identified and documented and ensure information regarding changes is communicated to the appropriate audiences.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar areas of study, or a directly related field with 5 or more years of work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in technology and support functions
  • Minimum of 4 years in management positions with experience managing technology and staff
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement

Icing on the cake:

  • ITIL Foundation/Service Operations certifications preferre
