We are searching for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team located at our data center in Lincolnshire, IL.

Your Role:

The IT Service Delivery Manager is a “hands-on” role that focuses on ensuring alignment between Reynolds Leveraged Services’ (RLS) teams, appropriate business IT teams, and other key stakeholders to offer the highest quality service to RLS supported businesses. This role is both strategic and tactical in nature by combining both business relationship and service delivery management key responsibilities.  This role requires the ability to be an advocate for both RLS and the supported businesses. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with business IT Managers and key business stakeholders to ensure continuity and improvement of RLS IT services
  • Assist the Service Owner with the successful transition of services into, and out of, RLS’s managed services
  • Assist Service Owners in ensuring coordination between RLS and business support teams for major incidents are managed in a professional manner with timely and effective communication.
  • Maintain knowledge of projects in flight to ensure there is appropriate coordination and issue resolution between RLS and the businesses to ensure timely and successful completion of projects
  • Work with Service Owners on recommended process and service improvements based on customer feedback. Maintain oversight through completion.
  • Actively participate in the RLS Change Management process and similar processes within the supported businesses
  • Manage customer expectations to ensure great customer service between RLS and the businesses
  • Ensure RLS IT teams are aware of major business changes and new projects to keep the teams informed

This role calls for a person who has a demonstrable service delivery background.  A strong customer focus, negotiation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite for this position. To be successful in this role you need strong problem solving skills and you must be business savvy, understanding how decisions and proposed changes or solutions can affect RLS and the business.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelors in IT, Business, or Communications
  • At least four years relevant experience in an IT Operational or Service Delivery Management role
  • Service delivery management or service level management experience
  • Negotiating new services with customers and the development of service level agreements
  • Incident & Change Management experience

Icing on the cake:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification +, ITIL Practitioner certification
