We are searching for a Human Resources and Payroll Specialist to join our team located at our headquarters in Temple, TX.

Your Role:

As an HR and Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to HR and a plant population of 300. You will ensure the accurate and timely processing of plant payroll for hourly and salary employees. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Enter new hires, status changes, performance reviews, and wage increases into our system
  • Run assigned payroll reports and audit and correct any errors or discrepancies
  • Create quarterly, year-end, and data reports
  • Assist employees with benefit, payroll, and policy questions
  • Coordinate temp and full time new hire orientation

Ultimately, you will use your organization skills to ensure the successful operations of the HR and Payroll teams and will also help ensure that our employees are well-informed and satisfied.

We need you to have:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 4+ years of related professional and progressive generalist Human Resource experience
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Icing on the cake:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience using Ceridian
