Your Role:

As an Maintenance Team Leader, you will work with the operations team (shift leaders, production managers, shift maintenance) to organize tasks and resources for projects to ensure new equipment operates efficiently after install and improve machine uptime throughout all departments.

. You will have the opportunity to:

• Demonstrate adherence to all safety practices and principles and ensure others working with you do the same
• Understand and adhere to company and regulatory safety practices and principles relevant to assigned projects
• Oversee activities involving the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities; designate and monitor the work of PM team to achieve the completion of tasks
• Provide input for performance evaluations of maintenance staff
• Communicate with shift maintenance, team leaders, and shift leaders regarding machine issues and status of the assigned work

Ultimately, you will play a vital role on our team and will provide feedback and support to supervisors on uncommon team member or technical issues as well as ensure 5S activities for the work area and tools used for tasks.

We need you to have:

• 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment preferred, including knowledge of extrusion and converting processes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced PC knowledge to include Microsoft office
• Experience in manufacturing systems such as SAP
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Experience in leading and organizing projects in a team environment
• Strong coaching and motivational skills, supportive of continuous improvement, and ability to successfully perform in a team environment
• Ability to apply standard problem solving techniques and perform root cause analysis
