We currently have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Appleton, WI.

Your Role:

As an Electrician you will be responsible for following all standard work practices and procedures to include: hot work permit system, proper start up and shutdown of all plant equipment, confined space policy, identify permit and non-permit confined spaces in the plant, Lockout Tagout procedures, Critical Safety Rules, plant and department safety rules, PPE, MSDS Policy and Procedures, plant fire protection system alarms and diesel pump. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed.
  • Program automated systems such as various PLC's, motor drives, and robotic equipment.
  • Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments, systems and testing equipment.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate ongoing modifications to contract specifications or plans.
  • Maintain plant electrical control systems or other automated equipment.
  • Participate with cost estimates, equipment design, installation and machine start-up and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with Day Project and machine Preventive Maintenance crews on mechanical and electro-mechanical issues.
  • Comply with all Plant rules, safety rules, GMP and PPE guidelines and Department work instructions.
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

We need you to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree
  • Certification to operate Forklift Truck, Scissors lift, Cherry Picker and Bobcat
  • Basic Electricity 1 & 2 or Equivalent
  • Ability to successfully pass the company designated written test and on the job training by a journeyman Electrician

Icing on the cake:

  • Previous experience at a manufacturing facility
