Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for Health & Safety Specialist to join our team at our Plant located in Hot Springs, AR 

Your Role:

As a Safety Specialist, you will influence the development of a proactive approach to health and environmental issues and will evaluate hazards, problem-solve, and implement improvements as well as provide support in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in injury, accident, and fire investigation reporting
  • Implement and conduct training for EHS policies, procedures, and programs
  • Perform safety and environmental related audits
  • Maintain the plant’s safety database records, and toolbox talk database

In this important role, you will help to secure the safety of our employees and our facility and will resolve issues, find improvement opportunities, and oversee programs to ensure that we are upholding our safety culture.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of related professional health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience with environmental policies and programs
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team
