If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager located at our facility in Jacksonville, IL. 

Your Role:

As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of EHS programs and procedures and will support our company’s safety culture. We embrace and accept individual experiences and backgrounds to achieve a diverse and inclusive workplace. 

You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop programs to proactively improve safety at our facility.
• Lead site safety and environmental inspections, audits, and assessments.
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.
• Train and develop EHS team members.
• Investigate the root cause of incidents and develop corrective action plans.
• Identify and manage risks at plant sites.

We need you to have:

• BA/BS degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of related professional and progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Management or Supervisory experience.
• Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Icing on the cake:

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Professional ASP, CSP, CIH, PE, CHMM certifications.
