We are searching for an Entry Level Design Operations Coordinator-(temp to hire) to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As an Entry Level Design Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all art files in the pre-press phase of development for our packaging graphics. 

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Create and upload the “print furniture/copy blocks” on the die lines for Private Label packaging items.

  • Manage the details of all updates of packaging images on Kwikee with the Kwikee team.

  • Partner with the internal design team & print vendors to produce the best in class product packaging for all national brands and private label brands. Specifically managing the color standards files, development of new color standards, and managing the information to GMI team.

  • Effectively manage the print production process including communication, collaboration, timelines and project management.

We need you to have:

  • 1-3 years of work experience working with graphics
  • Cross-functional work experience – participating in a team environment
  • Good understanding of offset litho, flexographic and gravure print processes.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office; Excel & Word, & database exposure
  • Experience in press side approvals; including LAB readings, & visual color evaluations

Icing on the cake:

  • Pre-Press experience
