Your Role:

As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical problem solving skills to repair, maintain, install, and upgrade equipment with electrical and mechanical components. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Recognize and correct safety deficiencies present in the production machines and processes
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment to meet operational specifications or tolerances
  • Spend time working closely with Engineers analyzing data from machines to improve inefficiencies and suggest solutions to electro-mechanical upgrades
  • Train and develop our employees

You will express your ideas and make recommendations for improvements. Ultimately, you will make our processes more efficient and productive therefore you will have a direct impact on the company!

We need you to have:

  • 2 years of vocational school training plus 5 years of on the job experience or 10 years of experience working as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment
  • Solving Electronic and Mechanical problems 
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
  • The ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
  • The willingness and ability to train others on Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs

Icing on the cake:

    • Allen Bradley PLC programming experience
    • Experience in polyethylene bag-making environment
