Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Product Innovation to join our team located at our facility in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Director of Product Innovation, you will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for leading new product innovation and factory IOT innovation to achieve maximum ROI and profitable revenue growth, share position, customer satisfaction, and retention. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with Presto Lead team and Marketing to architect a product strategy roadmap, drive decision making, develop appropriate product metrics and goals, and create sustained competitive advantage with the Stage Gate process.
  • Develop, align, and present business cases that support new products and enhancement opportunities.
  • Lead IP decisions around product design, filing new IP, right to practice, and staying abreast of new opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional readiness for launches/enhancements in close partnership with go-to-market, domestic operations and global commercialization teams
  • Monitor and leverage market research, industry trends, customer insights, regulatory developments, and competitive intelligence to identify the most effective product value propositions

We need you to have:

  • 4 year engineering degree
  • 1+ years in the digital manufacturing / IOT space
  • 7+ years’ experience  leadership in Product Innovation / Manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply to real world applications
  • Proven Project management expertise

Icing on the Cake  

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Large Capital Project Management
  • SAP Experience
