Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Business Unit Quality Manager to join our team at our offices located in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Business Unit Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Business Unit wide quality systems to produce safe, legal, and quality products. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Build systems and procedures where gaps exist and remove non-value-adding procedures
  • Develop, coach, and mentor a strong, effective quality team
  • Plan, schedule, and initiate internal audits to insure compliance
  • Promote awareness of customer requirements
  • Drive the system across multiplants
  • Work closely with the VP of Operations for the Presto Business Unit

In this exciting role, you will make an impact on our company by identifying areas to improve and using your problem-solving skills to resolve issues. Ultimately, you will ensure the quality of our products and our customer’s satisfaction.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Quality
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment including implementing sustainable, value-adding, systems
  • Experience with statistical analysis
  • Prior experience with SPC based project management
  • Understanding of the FDA, the Code of Federal Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Prior experience in a supervisory position

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Experience working with legal documents, scientific journals, and financial reports
