We are searching for a Business Solutions Data Architect to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Business Solutions Data Architect, you will be responsible for deploying and managing the strategic data requirements, while outlining high-level integrated designs to deliver solutions to our business partners as well as collaborate with business partners to define and develop the data architecture and data solution roadmap, strategies and project requirements for the contract manufacturing team.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop functional and technical specifications to implement solutions that satisfy the business requirements
  • Own and develop technical architecture, design and implementation of big data platforms and business analytics solutions to empower our internal customers to solve their data driven analytics needs
  • A strong ability to understand and organize data from various sources
  • Extract and transform raw data from various data sources into useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights

Ultimately, you will act as a subject matter expert for technical guidance, solution design and best practices within the business intelligence organization.

We need you to have:

  • BS Degree in applied statistics, computer science, engineering, data architecture/engineer, data science or a related quantitative discipline
  • 5 years in a business architecture role in an environment of similar size/complexity.
  • 5 years domain experience working with data, analytics and BI reporting.
  • 5 years applicable business domain experience
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT Architecture and process designing, experience of implementation and performance tuning of mappings/jobs/transformations.
  • Big Data technologies experience such as Hadoop or HDInsight, Hive, Pig, Python, Spark, Oozie or any of the other tools with the Hadoop ecosystem

  • MBA or Advanced Degree a Plus
