Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Transportation Planner to join our team at our location in Temple, TX.

Your Role:

As a Transportation Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and network design, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement projects within the assigned region.  The successful individual will provide effective leadership and execution of outbound freight movements for customer/inter-company transfer orders across North America.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Consolidate client orders into optimal load profiles
  • Load planning, optimization, routing, and scheduling of all transportation modes
  • Coordinate transportation for special requests, sever weather, or expedited situations
  • Report and recognize issue patterns and provide recommended solutions

Ultimately, you will make a significant impact on company and provide guidance and support to ensure logistics best practices are followed while also making suggestions for improving efficiency.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or coordinator role
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience in the consumer product goods (CPG) industry
