Your Role:

As a Technology Manager, you will be a key contributor to the overall engineering direction for the plant.   You will provide the planning and execution of both strategic and tactical activities and projects related to the safety and overall performance of the Louisville Foil Plant (LFP) facility. The position reports directly to the Senior Director of Technology and Operations and is considered a key stakeholder in both strategic and tactical support. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities.
  • Manage facilities planners to ensure cascaded LFP objectives are met within facilities group.
  • Lead, coach, and influence the development of each team member.
  • Assist in the development of facility planners’ individual training plans.
  • Ensure all team members comply with all safety policies, standards, and expectations.
  • Support the planning and execution of facilities and utilities activities by working in cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement facilities seasonal maintenance programs (i.e. summarization and winterization PMs).
  • Maintain and optimize LFP water treatment program and facility equipment PM and PdM programs.
  • Ensure utility and facility equipment comply with OSHA and all applicable health and safety regulatory requirements.
  • Manage capital projects associated with facilities and utilities equipment. 
  • Create and/or assist in the development of technical documents for facilities and utilities equipment.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field (ABET accredited)
  • 8+ years of professional and progressive Plant Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • MS Office, AutoCAD, CMMS, process data analytics software experience required
  • Demonstrated high level competencies of engineering concepts, and good engineering practices
  • Experience in heating, cooling, refrigeration, steam, compressed air, industrial ventilation, HVAC, energy management controls, relevant/applicable NFPA, ASHRAE, ANSI, ASME and international codes required

Icing on the cake:

  • Master’s degree preferred
