Are you looking to build a strong career?  Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Engineering Manager located at our facility in Temple, TX.

As a Technical Engineering Manager, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all production equipment as well as support production processes, safety initiatives, capital improvement projects, and building maintenance. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure department’s adherence to the Reynolds safety programs
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement capital projects for new product introductions, automation projects, and capacity expansions
  • Use expertise in engineering to develop solutions to problems
  • Develop and communicate regularly scheduled reporting i.e. on-going weekly reports, project status reports, timelines etc.

Ultimately, you will collaborate with various teams throughout the Plant and Division to ensure that all phases of engineering projects are completed smoothly.

We need you to have:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 6-10 years of applicable experience in a plant engineering and maintenance environment
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Microsoft Project

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment and a Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Experience in a unionized environment
