Job Description

As an Storeroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating and controlling finished goods material inventory and the associated cost. The successful individual will oversee inventory management processes and resolve any issues that arise.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Reduce cost associated with obsolescence; aged cartons and aged finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures and manage inventory for organization
  • Monitor all inventory issues and ensure effective resolution for all
  • Evaluate all inventory status and implement actions as required by finance department on regular basis
  • Inventory and Cycle Count tasks
  • Enter Work Order information into Maintenance Connection
  • Processing and filling orders from a Work Order
  • Analyze, monitor and respond to daily shortage reports
  • Deliver items to plant personnel
  • Expedite, delay, cancel or make changes to purchase requisitions as required
  • Parts Runner/ Expediter
  • Counter Clerk
  • May participate in other areas of Planning as a back-up
  • Organize the parts room and make improvements to the layout
  • Place freight in proper places in Storeroom
  • Safely and efficiently receive freight off the trucks- physical and clerical
  • Safely and efficiently load freight on to the trucks- physical and clerical
  • Safely and efficiently lift and move heavy objects
  • Functional knowledge of operating manual material handling equipment such as a fork lift
  • Maintain an inventory record and conduct semi-annual inventory of the spare parts.
  • Provide inventory documentation to the accounting department as needed
  • Maintain administrative records, labeling merchandise and stocking shelves
  • Identify obsolete inventory items and notify procurement management
  • Perform other special projects as required

We need you to have:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office
