GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Sourcing Manager – Colorants & Additives (REMOTE) is responsible for executing sourcing strategies and projects for the assigned categories and is responsible for achieving key performance targets in savings, working capital, and VE/CE continuous improvement.  Ultimately you will be responsible for contributing to the Reynold’s direct material sourcing team.  You will develop, communicate, and execute sourcing strategies that align with Reynold’s short and long-term strategic plans.   
 
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  


o    Develop and deploy category strategies that align with the businesses strategic objectives.
o    Identify cost savings and improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional teams through project realization.
o    Create and present financial business cases to senior leadership to ensure alignment on strategic sourcing initiatives.
o    Assess and mitigate category risks, and engage proper internal stakeholders and external resources to optimize solutions and improvements.
o    Regularly monitor and analyze the market, competitive intelligence, and pricing trends.  Report market data to key stakeholders and use intel to enable strategic category decisions.  
o    Assess spend analytics, develop bids that encompass total cost of ownership, and execute complex contractual negotiations.  Redline and implement supply agreements with legal collaboration. 
o    Manage critical vendor relationships and serve as the key liaison between suppliers and Reynold’s operations. 
o    Identify critical supply disruption points in the upstream value chain and formulate an effective strategy for mitigation
o    Work cooperatively with Engineering to assess the quality capabilities of new and existing suppliers to ensure that all product/material purchases meet defined quality standards.


QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education:

o    Bachelors in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field 
Experience: 
o    8 + years of professional experience in the Procurement discipline in a large, internationally scaled, multi-plant manufacturing organization.  
o    5 years+ experience in managing spends of at least $50MM per year
o    Knowledge of direct materials that are driven by commodity markets 
o    Experience leading cross-functional teams to implement supplier change and/or cost savings initiatives across a large, complex supplier base and a geographically diverse plant network. 
o    Demonstrated expertise in procurement category management, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations and the strategic sourcing process. 
o    Strong proficiency redlining complex contracts.  Knowledge of commercial and legal contractual terms and conditions.  

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 


o    Proficient with MS Office. 
o    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization. 
o    Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers. 
o    Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills. 
o    A commitment to excellence and continuous improvement with experience in various continuous improvement processes and initiatives (i.e. 5S, Value Streams, Six Sigma, TPM) 
o    Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution. 
o    Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet key business deadlines. 
o    Must be team oriented with the skillset to excel in high collaboration and performance teams. 
o    Flexibility to travel up to 25%
