Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you!  We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Regional Warehousing Manager at our facility in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Senior Regional Warehousing Manager, you will manage a team of 2-5 direct reports covering a region of several warehouses. You are responsible for 3PL, capacity planning and warehouse operations to ensure we are operating with safe, effective, and efficient processes. Additionally, you will make recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency to the company’s operations.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Implement business plan for assigned area by communicating goals, managing staffing, scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads.
  • Oversee Warehouse operations, activities and budget performance within multi-site regional responsibility.
  • Review, recommend, develop and implement changes in distribution operation and talent processes following Lean methodologies.
  • Consult with stakeholders to identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns to make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Work with warehouse management team to ensure processes and procedures are followed in accordance with company policy, in relation to - Inbound Receiving, Cycle Adjustments, Requisitions/Transfer Orders/Sales Orders, and inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage productivity of assigned area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing and analyzing business reports.
  • Maintain and distribute quality and safety standards, monitor compliance with logistics and company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Supervise and assign duties, coordinate workloads, monitor performance and provide feedback to employees and leaders in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Identifying training and development needs; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience, in supply chain processes and systems.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing complex projects and working with diverse teams in multiple location.
  • 2+ years, Lean experience in a manufacturing or Logistics environment.

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience in the consumer product goods (CPG) industry
