We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Global Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager  located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Senior Global Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end logistics and trade compliance for Canada and International Business Units across Reynolds Consumer Products.  You will also develop strategic direction for import/export and foreign to foreign logistics, including trade compliance activities.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage relationships and agreements with third parties including Customs Brokers, freight forwarders and other third parties involved in the import/export and International process.
  • Maintain customs policies and business SOP’s and effectively implement to support global supply chain requirements, local regulations, and corporate polices/standards
  • Ensure management and execution of annual C-TPAT activities
  • Day to day management of import/export activities and global custom brokerage support.
  • Classify and maintain correct harmonized tariff codes and country of origin information to accurately define traded goods.

In this exciting role, you will manage risks associated with Global Supply Chain execution and drive compliant cost-saving global trade programs and logistics initiatives.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS in International Business, International Logistics, Supply Chain, OR sufficient work experience to compensate.  
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in International Logistics and Compliance
  • In depth understanding of the C-TPAT process, minimum security requirements and validation visits
  • Familiarity in working with US Customs
  • Free Trade Agreements and documentation
  • Knowledge of product classification
