We are searching for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

The Financial Reporting Senior Manager is responsible for the preparation of the Company’s financial statements. The role provides exposure and development in U.S. GAAP and SEC rules. It interfaces with Finance and non-finance professionals across the business and corporate functions such as Investor Relations, Treasury and Legal. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the preparation and review of financial reports on Forms 10Q, 10K, 8K, and Proxy including U.S. GAAP financial statements and disclosures, MD&A and other SEC reporting requirements within established filing requirements.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting of financial results to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Perform financial analysis and support Investor Relations and senior management in other earnings release / public materials.
  • Serve as key liaison to internal and external auditors during their quarterly reviews and annual financial statement and control audits.
  • Research technical accounting matters, monitor US GAAP and SEC developments, assist with the company-wide implementation of new accounting pronouncements and reporting requirements and provide ongoing peer benchmarking analysis.
  • Provide support for other key strategic projects as needed.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • “Big 4” public accounting or related large public company experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations.
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to recognize unusual trends.
  • Detail oriented and organized, able to multi-task and work within strict deadline oriented environment.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and solve problems.
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

 

Icing on the cake:

  • SAP and HFM experience a plus.
  • Workiva or other SEC reporting solution experience helpful.
