We are searching for a  Senior Director- Information Technology Security to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

The Senior Director - Information Technology Security, will be responsible for ensuring that information technology security risks are properly identified and addressed within the enterprise. This role is expected to establish policies and solutions that enforce security best-practices to maximize protection and resiliency. This senior leader will interact with business and IT stakeholders to develop secure solutions that mitigate high-risk areas. This role will also be expected to bring new technologies and designs to the table to enable competitive advantage and ensure protection of reputation and intellectual property.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Implementation of industry leading practices around cyber risks and security for on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Design and develop security policies, standards and procedures (e.g. firewall management, SSL/IPSec, security incident and event management (SIEM), data protection (DLP, encryption), user account management (SSO, SAML), and password/key management.
• Support security aspects of business & IT initiatives by assisting in architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and operational transition of innovative & secure technology solutions.
• Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend and plan the implementation of new or updated information security technologies.
• Play an advisory role in IT projects to assess security requirements and controls to ensure security controls are implemented.
• Complete remediation activities and initiate actions to ensure compliance and security gaps are successfully addressed.
• Evaluate security controls employed by technology service providers to ensure information assets are adequately protected.
• Demonstrate ability to assess and communicate IT security concepts and practices, with both business and IT stakeholders.

We need you to have:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar area of study
• 8+ years of work experience
• 10+ years’ work experience in information security and/or related functions - IT Audit, Risk Management or Security Architecture
• Proven record of creative technology solutions that advance the business

Icing on the cake:

• CISSP certification preferred
