Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Human Resources Representative to join our team located at our headquarters in Jacksonville, IL

Your Role:

As an HR Representative, you will be responsible for assisting HR with various day-to-day tasks, providing administrative support, and responding to all inquiries for the department. The HR Representatives will work with the supervision of an HR manager, but many duties are completed in coordination with the HR Manager to determine hiring needs and ensure proper staffing levels are performed with little or no supervision. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Process and prepare payroll, onboard new employees, and explain benefits programs
  • Adhere to all the rules and policies of the organization as well as ensuring RCP’s practices comply with all local, state and federal regulations.  
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding a wide variety of issues (benefits, work schedules, transfers, promotions, safety,  performance, pay, and company policies). 
  • Explain concepts, practices and procedures used in the Consumer Packaged Goods and/or manufacturing industry 

Ultimately, you will use your organization skills to ensure the successful operation of the HR team and will also help ensure that our employees are well-informed and satisfied.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 5+ years of related professional Human Resource experience
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Knowledge of applicable state, federal, local employment labor laws and regulations

Icing on the cake:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification
  • Experience using ADP
