Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Process Improvement Manager to join our team at our plant in Louisville, KY.

Your Role:

As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating plant operations for new and existing products, processes, and materials to find operational opportunities and ensure that each process is optimized to meet current goals. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Troubleshoot and statistically analyze current processes
  • Develop standard operating conditions and standard work processes
  • Prioritize and implement improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, and cost
  • Support Lead Manufacturing philosophy and ensure the use of Lean tools

Ultimately, you will express your ideas and make recommendations for improvements to make our processes more efficient and productive therefore you will have a direct impact on the company!

We need you to have:

  • BS in l Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of applicable technical experience
  • Lean Six Sigma training and certification
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Experience with statistical analysis and familiarity with related tools such as Minitab

Icing on the cake:

  • Project management certification or experience
  • Experience working in polyethylene bag-making environment
