Your Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will research, implement and apply new technology and applications. This unique opportunity requires an innovative, self-starting individual to apply their creativity and vision to our manufacturing processes. In addition, the employee will assist with automation of machines relating to manufacturing of products, and reliability of equipment.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for machine builds and designs, continuous improvement of existing machine designs, and support of new product development, assembly, testing and integration of equipment into customer’s equipment.
• Provides hands-on mechanical support of the design, fabrication, installation and startup of our application systems.
• Works with machine partners to design and integrate our application systems and ensure our application systems work successfully with their machines.
• Troubleshoots and resolves process problems with applications systems.
• Takes the lead on forming engineering solutions for application of new products via new machines, retrofit of existing machines for new products, and continuous improvement of existing machine platforms.
• Acts as internal consultant providing mechanical guidance on the most complex projects and problems by applying creativity, innovation, tools, methods, and techniques integrated with technical insights, knowledge and experience to form conclusions and resolutions

We need you to have:

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• 2+ years of professional and progressive Engineering experience in manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with design and implementation of new machines and existing machine improvements.

Icing on the cake:

• Experience with troubleshooting of machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with injection molding and profile extrusion is a plus.
